The Subhakar Rao Foundation has been the beacon of hope for underprivileged students in Bengaluru and its suburbs since 1990. The Foundation was established along with the Champions Trust and Charitable Foundations by Chairman and CEO – Mr. Subhakar Rao Surapaneni, with the sole focus of catering to the financially insecure students in and around the city.
Mobilizing crowd-funding and other charitable activities to raise the bar of Karnataka’s education facilities for economically weak student families has been the Foundation’s primary goal. The motto ‘Education for All’ speaks for the NGO’s focus and its activities also highlight the same.
From funding meritorious students with economic burdens to setting up computer labs in less-funded institutions, the NGO is tirelessly working in the suburbs to make quality education accessible to all. The Foundation also gives special attention to school drop-outs who require working in order to earn their living.
